Unfortunately, the knowledge on how to build these launchers seems to have been "lost" :D

I had high hopes that Anaconda could build the win-arm64 launcher (cc @jezdez).

@wolfv this is a good idea IMO, for the https://github.com/conda-incubator/installer team, I'm tapping @marcoesters and @Callek to help move the building of the binaries into an own repo, so we can start using them and build them correctly for new platforms

Mentioning it because the README in this PR says the source is conda/conda, but the actual source is conda/conda-build. That directory contains the source files and build scripts, which have some comments too. I think it's a matter of running the build scripts with some compilers assumed to be present.

That would have my preference for sure!

They are not codesigned, if that makes a difference.
